My other blog is marked as spam..

So my main blog is marked as spam and I have 20 days to get Google to review it before they delete it. I am so frustrated at this point. It has my whole life for over a year on it. So I will try and update this one because I can't do anything on the other one..

Dear moms,

Dear moms,

Dallas is starving and going to die. I have tried for 2 years now. I just can't do it. I have failed. I have done all in my power to make it work. I JUST can't.

See... things start on fire. They do. Its not my fault.

Please send cookies and things I can make in the microwave!

No... Just cookies....... and chocolate!!

The domestic dummy!

The picture is of bread sticks. The kind that come in the box.. ya know that you broil.. or put in a toaster oven... They burned... and started on fire.

A day in the life

Wake up at 5:30 am

Eat breakfast with mommy

Paint Mommies windows with paint! This includes painting my body, hair and any other body part I want. It also includes windows and tile and a little bit of the rug.

Take a bath and a Nap.

Wake up and clean our mess on the windows.

Play and play and love on mommy and daddy.

at the end of the day.....

Love and more love!!

This list was sent by a preemie mom and I found it hit the spot for where I am today/week.

I was thinking of a little list of what preemie parents do and don't deserve:
We do deserve:
1. Lots of hugs and support
2. A pat on the back once in awhile
3. To put ourselves first
4. Movie night!!!
5. Date night!!!
!6. To be pissed off
7. Good shows on TV
8. Down time
9. A good book
10. A hot fudge sundae
11. A break from the kids
12. To vent
13. To be angry
14. To be angry at God

We do not deserve:
1. To have people tell us that you need to be strong for your kids: HELLO!!! Like we're not strong for our kids???!!!!!
2. To have people tell us that the situation can't be helped and you just have to deal with it: HELLO AGAIN!!! Yes, it CAN be helped and no we don't have to "DEAL" with it. Sometimes parents need a break. This isn't the middle ages here people! We don't exist just to be miserable. We are human beings and we need to be happy. We just do. Sometimes we need to just have time for OURSELVES!!! !!!!
3. Judgment! ESPECIALLY when people haven't been through what we have been through
4. Those odd NICU nurses who don't "play well" with parents: I am sure that you all have at least one or two of those. You know the ones who usually pick those shifts (usually graveyard) so they don't have to deal with the parents. Well, HELLO!!! Parents come in at all hours!!! If it were me I'd fire 'em. No offense to all the wonderful graveyard NICU nurses though
5. To have our kid(s) die.
6. Well, any of this to be quite frank... we did not deserve to go into labor early, we did not deserve the long NICU stay, the multiple baggings, etc.

The same old stuff

Life is busy busy in the warm sun! The weather is turning warm and is sometimes a little to warm for my fair haired little man.

Things we have been up to:
  • Park
  • Park
  • playing in the hose
  • playing in the sand box
  • playing with rocks
  • playing with Barney

I have taken a back burner to his therapy for right now. Sometimes it just gets to be to much for me. Don't get me wrong we haven't given them up completely we have stopped going three days a week to one and have cut down to 2 PT sessions a week, Speech and OT and we still go to "school" and have an eye therapist. So yeah... Mom was getting to much.

Sometimes a person needs some time.. ya know!

Hugging my baby a little closer tonight

On April 10th a fellow friend lost her baby in a tragic accident. He was a little younger than Ty and I am just heartsick for this mom! She is such a great mom and is so strong and has great faith.

From her message: On Thursday I put the kids to sleep for their nap in the afternoon. When I went to check on them a couple hours later, I found Keelan at the foot of Ellie’s bed pinned against the very small space between her mattress and the bars. He suffocated. I could tell the moment I saw him that he was gone, but I of course panicked and screamed and called 911. The fire department and paramedics worked on him for quite some time but there was nothing they could do. It has been the hardest 4 days of my entire life. Unexplainable pain, and yet joy knowing I’ll see my little boy again.

As a plea to all of you parents, if your child happens to have a twin bed with any spaces either against the headboards or foot boards or even against the wall, fix them immediately. Put blankets or pillows in it or get rid of the bed completely. I wish I had known and hopefully that plea will save another child’s life.

I am loving on Bubba a little more tonight and have been a little more tolerant of his sad times and cherishing his wonderful personality a little more.

Keelan and Megaroo you are in our Thoughts and prayers today, tomorrow and in the weeks to come.

You Are Big Bird

Talented, smart, and friendly... you're also one of the sanest people around.

You are usually feeling: Happy. From riding a unicycle to writing poetry, you have plenty of hobbies to keep you busy.

You are famous for: Being a friend to everyone. Even the grumpiest person gets along with you.

How you life your life: Joyfully. "Super. Duper. Flooper."

Guess that throws my " borderline personality" out the window huh!! I love being "sane"!!!

A new book!

I "ordered" a book through the Emily Anderson Center here in Phoenix. I wanted to attend a conference on this book. It was put on by the FBC. Taking it one chapter at at time and do the small activity suggestions at the end of each chapter. It is a great book and anyone that feels they want to learn about how people "live" with a child that has a disability I would recommend it. It is VERY helpful in understanding why we feel the way we do. Maybe it will give people some insight into who I am.

Anyway, I just finished Chapter one and the activity it has you do is list five things that your child has done this week that made you smile. So I thought I would list them here.
1. Just saying his name makes me smile. Honestly, I can't go a day or a minute when I am with him and I can't help but smile when he is there.
2. Watching him try REALLY hard to change the DVD's himself. He doesn't get them in the "hole" but he tries so hard and is so proud when he changes it.
3. When Barney pops up on the screen he gasps. Then he crawls over and gasps either at my feet or at my bed or wherever I am. It's like he is telling me look mom .. its Barney. I have to say Is that Barney Tyler before he will go back to the movie.
4. Swimming. Although he was pretty crabby that day he was still oh so cute!!
5. Standing in his room after I get home from work to check if he is still breathing. Just standing there watching him. He is the sweetest most amazing little boy.

It seems to be Summer here in the Sun BUT until the water hits 113 it comes out cold. But Monkey didn't seem to mind to much!

The Stacker!

Monkey's last PT said he couldn't stack.. We fired her!! Not just for that reason but she didn't think he would ever walk and she wasn't what we wanted for Monkey. So we have been on our own for the last month. With a big dose of independence being delivered and lots of play we are getting MUCH better.

But he does stack.... on the lights outside!!!! Go Monkey!

Random pictures

So Monkey and I have been sick. I should have known that we were going to get sick. Tuesday I thought I was going to die. I chalked it up to anxiety but for 2 more days I had a tummy ache...

Anyway... here is some pictures of Monkey enjoying the weather before we made it under the weather

This is MONKEY after his play group!! He always does a craft and it always involves paint. He loves it though. So that is all that matters. We always stop an get a burger for lunch that day to so he has Ketchup!! (His fav)0n his face.
Monkey is in LOVE with Bubbles so we have to blow them a million times and the WHOLE time we are out there! He also plays with Paint while we are out there. He thinks the paint is hair gel and always puts it in his hair. He always gets so dirty and has so much fun. He is the best and cutest little boy in all of Arizona and possibly the world ( If I do say so myself.) My favorite... is his little feet.. Dad took these as we were all ready for bed. What cute little man!!!!

The BEST Bubbles...

I apologize for the lack of an actual picture of Monkey but he LOVES bubbles. He will try really hard to get the wand into can. But best of all how he "blows" them. He doesn't but he sure does eat them. He sticks the whole wand into his mouth and then says "ahh"

I will try and capture the best smile on earth, trying to eat the best bubbles on earth.

Try em.. Gazillion bubbles.... AMAZING. Plus, everyone smiles with bubbles around.
